  The morning assembly conducted on 31 October 2025 was organized by the Social Science Department. The programme was well-coordinated by Gopika, who ensured the smooth flow of events. The assembly began with a prayer, followed by the news report presented by Shahana, giving students an update on important national and international happenings. The thought of the day was delivered by Adhila, focusing on the theme of National Unity Day, highlighting the importance of unity, harmony, and collective responsibility in nation-building. The assembly concluded with the national anthem. Overall, it was an informative and inspiring session that emphasized the value of national integration.

 A Library Digitalization Program was successfully conducted at Anjarakkandy Higher Secondary School on 12/07/2025, in association with IQAC and the NSS Unit of the college. The session was led by the esteemed resource person, Dr. K. S. Sajan, Assistant Professor, NSS College, Ottapalam. The initiative aimed to support the school in transitioning its library resources to a digital format for improved accessibility and management. Under the expert guidance of Dr. K. S. Sajan, the NSS volunteers from the college actively participated in the digitalization process. The efforts of the college volunteers were effectively supported by the NSS volunteers of Anjarakkandy HSS and the School NSS Convenor, ensuring smooth coordination and enthusiastic participation throughout the program. The program concluded with a note of appreciation to all who made the event a success.

 A pre-internship orientation programme was held on 30th June 2025 at College auditorium , aiming to prepare students for their upcoming school internship. The session was led by the Principal, Dr. Jayasree C.V., who addressed the students with an inspiring talk on the importance of internship in shaping a teacher’s identity. She emphasized the need for dedication, punctuality, and professionalism during the teaching practice period. All faculty members shared their valuable insights and experiences. Each teacher covered specific areas such as lesson plan preparation, effective teaching strategies, classroom discipline, student engagement, and maintaining records. All the teachers extended their heartfelt wishes and conveyed their best wishes to each student for a successful and enriching internship experience.

  On 27/06/2025, the NSS unit of College took part in a noble community service activity under the project "സ്നേഹഭവനം", aimed at helping a needy family complete the construction of their house. This compassionate initiative was carried out with the active participation of NSS student volunteers under the sincere guidance and supervision of college teachers. The volunteers enthusiastically engaged in various forms of physical assistance, including carrying construction materials and clearing the surroundings. Teachers played a vital role in guiding the students, offering encouragement, and ensuring that the activities were carried out effectively and safely. The "സ്നേഹഭവനം" initiative not only made a tangible contribution to the construction of a shelter for a deserving family but also provided the students with a meaningful and memorable experience of service and empathy.   The International Day Against Drug Abuse was observed on 26/06/2025 with great sincerity and commitment. The programme began with a warm welcome speech by Krishnakumar E.P., the IQAC Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the role of educational institutions in shaping a drug-free society. An Oath-taking ceremony was led by Dr. C.V. Jayasree, Principal of SUMCTE, where students and faculty members collectively pledged to stand against drug use and promote a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. The International Yoga Day celebration at our institution was held on 23rd June 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was organized to promote physical, mental, and spiritual well-being among students and staff, reflecting the global message of health and harmony that Yoga embodies. The session was expertly conducted by Dileena Ranjith, a skilled and experienced yoga instructor, who guided the participants through a series of yogic practices.  Ms. Dileena led the participants through various asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques), and a short meditation session. The participants followed along attentively, many of them experiencing yoga for the first time with great interest and energy.
