Anti-Drug awareness programme

  An   Anti-Drug Awareness Programme   was conducted at   SUM College of Teacher Education   on   27 January 2026   with the objective of creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. Various  experts in the field  visited the college and handled interactive sessions focusing on  drug usage, its ill effects, and the social, physical, and psychological consequences of substance abuse . The sessions were informative and engaging, enabling students to gain a deeper understanding of the dangers associated with drug addiction. The programme was  chaired by Dr. C. V. Jayashree , Principal, SUM College of Teacher Education. Students actively participated in the interaction session by raising questions and sharing their views, which made the programme meaningful and effective.
