Honouring Ceremony - 21/03/2025


 A special ceremony was held to honour Dr. Sajan Sir for his invaluable contributions to the NAAC accreditation process. The event was attended by esteemed dignitaries, faculty members, and well-wishers, who gathered to express their gratitude and appreciation for his dedicated efforts.

The program began with a welcome speech by Divakaran P.E., Asst. Professor of Physical Science, who warmly welcomed the gathering. He emphasized the significance of the occasion and acknowledged the hard work and commitment shown by Sajan Sir in guiding the NAAC-related activities. Following this, the Presidential Address was delivered by Dr. C.V. Jayasree, Principal, SUMCTE. In her speech, she highlighted the remarkable role played by Sajan Sir in ensuring the smooth execution of NAAC procedures. She praised his expertise, dedication, and unwavering support, which greatly contributed to the institution's academic and administrative excellence.

The most significant moment of the event was the honouring of Sajan Sir. As a token of appreciation, a memento was presented to him in the name of SUM College by College Manager, Ahmadkutty, and Principal, Dr. C.V. Jayasree. Additionally, Salafi College also recognized his contributions by presenting a memento, which was handed over by Ahmadkutty and Dr. Sobha S, Principal, Salafi College.

The event continued with the felicitation session, where distinguished speakers expressed their gratitude and admiration for Sajan Sir. Dr. Sobha S, Principal, Salafi B.Ed. College, spoke about his instrumental role in the NAAC accreditation process and his valuable guidance. Krishnakumar E.P., IQAC Coordinator, SUMCTE, highlighted his technical expertise and commitment to institutional quality enhancement. Ahmadkutty, Manager, SUMCTE, extended his appreciation for Sajan Sir’s selfless contributions. George Joseph, Staff Secretary, commended his dedication and efforts in improving the institution’s academic standards. Sudha, IQAC Coordinator, Salafi College, also shared her experiences and acknowledged his support in NAAC-related work. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Praseetha P., Asst. Professor of Natural Science. She expressed her sincere gratitude to all the dignitaries, faculty members, and attendees for their presence and participation, making the event a memorable and meaningful one.

 The honouring ceremony was a fitting tribute to Sajan Sir’s selfless service, expertise, and guidance, reinforcing the institutions' commitment to academic excellence and quality assurance.
