AMALA BHAVAN VISIT - 23/12/2025

 

As part of the college outreach programme, a visit to ‘Amala Bhavan’ was organized on 23rd December 2025 with the aim of sharing love, joy, and the true spirit of Christmas with the residents. After the Christmas celebration in the college, the faculty members and students visited Amala Bhavan in the afternoon to extend the festive spirit beyond the campus.

The programme began with a warm interaction with the residents, followed by a Christmas celebration at Amala Bhavan. A cake-cutting ceremony was conducted, and the cake was distributed among the people there, spreading happiness and togetherness. On the occasion, the Dr. C. V. Jayasree (Principal, SUMCTE) and George Joseph (Asst. Professor) delivered short speeches and wishes everyone.


The celebration was made lively and memorable through various cultural programmes jointly performed by the residents of Amala Bhavan, students, and teachers. The activities included dance, songs, mimicry, storytelling, and other entertaining performances, which actively engaged the people there and created an atmosphere of joy and inclusiveness.



The visit proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone involved. The outreach programme at Amala Bhavan not only brought smiles to the faces of the residents but also instilled a sense of empathy, social commitment, and festive joy among the students and teachers, making the day truly memorable.

WOMEN'S DAY CELEBRATION

  The College Women Cell organized a vibrant and inspiring Women's Day celebration on March 10, 2025, in the college general hall. The event was a tribute to the achievements of women and a call for continued efforts toward gender equality.    The program began with a warm welcome speech by Praseetha P, Assistant Professor of Natural Science, who set the tone for the event by highlighting the significance of Women's Day and the invaluable contributions of women to society.
