WORLD AIDS DAY - 02/12/2025

The College observed World AIDS Day on 2 December 2025 with great awareness and seriousness, highlighting the importance of global solidarity and responsibility in combating HIV/AIDS. The programme began with a brief and meaningful welcome speech delivered by Aiswarya MK, who warmly addressed the gathering and introduced the purpose of the day’s observance.
This was followed by an informative talk by Nysha Renjith, who spoke about the significance of World AIDS Day, the myths and misconceptions surrounding HIV, and the need for compassion towards those affected. Her words inspired the students to adopt a more responsible and empathetic approach.

An oath-taking ceremony was then conducted, in which all participants pledged to spread awareness, fight stigma, and promote healthy practices. The solemn oath added a sense of commitment to the occasion.

The highlight of the programme was an awareness class led by Dr. C. V. Jayasree, Principal, who provided valuable insights into prevention, early diagnosis, and the role of education in eliminating discrimination. Her session was highly enlightening and encouraged students to become active ambassadors of awareness. The programme concluded with a sincere vote of thanks by Anaswar Prasannan, who expressed gratitude to all participants, speakers, and organizers for making the observance meaningful and impactful.

Overall, the World AIDS Day programme served as a powerful reminder of the need for awareness, empathy, and collective action in creating a healthier society.
