NSS Camp

 The National Service Scheme (NSS) camp was successfully organized at CHM Higher Secondary School starting on 24 December 2025. The camp aimed at fostering social responsibility, leadership, and community service among student volunteers.

The inaugural ceremony of the NSS camp was graced by ACP Pradeepan Kannipoyil, who formally inaugurated the camp and delivered a wonderful and inspiring talk. His address motivated the volunteers to actively participate in social service and uphold values such as discipline, civic responsibility, and compassion.

Several dignitaries honored the occasion, including Mr. Ahammed Kutty Manster, Manager of SUMCTE; Abdulla Master, Principal of CHM Higher Secondary School; Subir Sir; Sudheedran Master; PTA Presidents, and many other respected guests. The function began with a warm welcome speech by Mr. Sunesh Kolagaroth, the Teacher-in-Charge of NSS, who highlighted the objectives and significance of the camp. The session was presided over by Dr. C. V. Jayasree, whose leadership and guidance added dignity to the program.

Throughout the camp period, various activities were conducted focusing on social awareness, community service, teamwork, and personal development of the volunteers. The enthusiastic participation of students and the support of teachers ensured the success of the camp.

The closing ceremony of the NSS camp was held on the morning of 30 December 2025. The ceremony was inaugurated by Mr. Tahir T, Deputy Mayor of Kannur Corporation. Eminent personalities such as Mr. Abdalla Master, Ahmed Kutty Master, Sudheedran Master, and several other dignitaries addressed the gathering. Their speeches encouraged students to continue serving society and apply the values learned during the camp in their daily lives. The NSS camp concluded on a meaningful note, leaving a lasting impact on the volunteers. It was a memorable and enriching experience that strengthened the spirit of service, unity, and social commitment among the students of CHM Higher Secondary School.
