THOUGHT OF THE DAY - 02/03/2026

The morning assembly held on 2nd March 2026 was organized by the English Department. The program began with a serene prayer, creating a calm and positive atmosphere for the day. The assembly was coordinated efficiently by Rachana, who ensured that each segment of the program progressed smoothly.  The news presentation was delivered by Anjima P. She presented the latest national, international, sports, and campus news in a clear and articulate manner.

The highlight of the assembly was the “Thought of the Day” presented by Nayana on the topic “From Pen to Patriotism: In Remembrance of Sarojini Naidu.” She beautifully spoke about the life and contributions of Sarojini Naidu, popularly known as the “Nightingale of India.” Nayana emphasized how Sarojini Naidu used her pen as a powerful tool to inspire patriotism and social change during the Indian freedom struggle. She highlighted her role as a poet, freedom fighter, and the first woman to become the President of the Indian National Congress and later the Governor of Uttar Pradesh. The thought was inspiring and reminded everyone of the power of words in shaping the nation. The assembly concluded on a thoughtful note by the coordinator.
